Dolphins Volleyball Club caters for all ages and abilities in Volleyball.
New players are always welcome to come along for a taster session.

We have been based in the Haywards Heath / Burgess Hill area since the early 1990's and have grown to our present Club size of two Mens and two Ladies teams in the Sussex Local League. In 2007-8, we also entered new National League teams, for both Mens and Ladies, both of whom finished respectably mid-table in their respective divisions, and have held respectable rankings in their subsequent seasons, narrowly missing the play-offs for promotion in their second year.

The Club trains and plays indoors from September until May - further information below regarding training sessions and league matches.

In the summer months we play outdoors at The Recreation Ground In Bolney on Wednesday evenings from 7:00 for 7:15 start as of Wednesday 2nd June 2010. (Go past the Eight Bells pub on your left, keep going and about 200yds on your right you will see the Recreation Ground). All welcome.

Going into their 4th season (2010-11), we have one National League ladies and one National League mens team both now in Division 2 South, following NVL restructuring for this season onwards. We are looking for players within Sussex who would be interested in joining and playing some top class volleyball. We are lucky enough that as a county we have some exceptional players and think we have the potential to have a couple of great teams so please give this real consideration!

Training will be held at the Triangle Leisure Centre in Burgess Hill on Thursday evenings, from 8-10pm, for Mens and Ladies. Dependent on numbers this may be mixed.
PLEASE NOTE - HOME MATCHES ARE HELD AT THE ASHCOMBE SCHOOL, DORKING.

The first hour 8-9pm will be mixed training on one court. The second hour 9-10pm will be a split session with two courts for mixed games and team-specific training. Check the Officiating Rota - we may sometimes have to use a Monday to fit in the many matches our 4 teams have scheduled..

Wednesdays are usually Match Night once the season is under way, any spare weeks will be used for additional training sessions. Please check the Officiating Rota - if there is no Home Match for a specific Wednesday night, then there will be training.
