Result: Sussex Dolphins Ladies lost to University of London 3-0
A weakened Sussex side were solidly beaten by a strong University side at Ashcombe. Sussex never looked like being on top as they were outclassed and out-gunned by a far superior side. Some superb setting from the University of London pacing quick attacks to their outside players meant that Sussex were never able to build an effective block and UOL found gaps in the defence. Although at times Sussex appeared to contend with some good back court defensive play they were never able to build good enough attacks to be effective against this side. Sussex will need to re-group before their next league match.
